Villa Farm Weddings

Weddings at a beautiful, Yorkshire wedding venue

We just love photographing Villa Farm Weddings.

Set in six acres of beautiful private gardens, Villa Farm is one of those wedding venues that we return to again and again and every time find something new and amazing to inspire us. Some of our favorite spots include the fantastically lush pond, complete with jetty and nearby weeping willows – perfect for couples to sneak away from their guests and spend a little time alone time, chilling out and getting some awesome photos.

Villa Farm has luxury on-site cottages that can accommodate up to 96 guests with exclusive use – which makes it ideal for weddings where family and guests are traveling from a distance. The cottages are seriously gorgeous and I can’t think of a more perfect start to any wedding day than waking up at Villa Farm and going for a relaxing soak in the on-site hot tub. No wonder all our couples that get married at Villa Farm are so happy and relaxed!

The staff and Corrina (the lovely owner) are so committed to every wedding that they take and our couples are always super happy with the experience of working with Villa Farm. As photographers, we love working with such down to earth and amazing people. We know that any wedding at Villa Farm is going to run really smoothly and we can just relax and concentrate on getting some great shots knowing that everything else is taken care of.

There is so much flexibility for Villa Farm weddings – a marquee is available for hire and we’ve been to some super-fun festival-style weddings that have been held on the grounds. There’s plenty of space available for couples to really think outside the box and bring some fun and unique elements into their wedding. Bouncy castles and food carts are great additions to any wedding and Villa Farm accommodates them easily. Plus, the field is the perfect size for space hopper races!

Couples have a choice of locations for their ceremony. There is a garden pergola near the pond for couples looking for an outdoor ceremony or if you’d prefer to be married inside, Villa Farm has recently restored & licensed their old stable building.

The old stable building (York Barn) is such an awesome space for photography. The barn has huge, glass bi-folding doors that provide jaw-dropping views of the beautiful Yorkshire landscape and let in lots and lots of natural light. We visited York Barn while Villa Farm were in the midst of restoring it, and it was fantastic to see all the care and attention to detail that was being put into the build. Underfloor heating makes the barn a great place for celebrations, whatever the weather outside.

We just love how creative Villa Farm weddings are and we are always super excited to see our couple’s plans come to life at this awesome venue!
