Views Of Porto From Graham’s Port Lodge

view of Porto from Vila Nova de Gaia

I was standing on the terrace of Graham’s Port Lodge in Vila Nova de Gaia when I took these photos on Friday afternoon. I’d arrived for the tour and tasting before everyone else, which gave me some time to wander around the property and check out the view. The lodge is situated on a ridge, but set back from the edge which makes less of the river visible. It’s too bad, because even 100m closer would make a big difference. Instead, there’s a house in front of the lodge, where a lady can be seen chasing her chickens and adding a side of amusement to the scenery.
