In this week’s Republican address, House Republican Conference Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) says that our children’s future depends on our ability to tackle the nation’s spending problem, which is why it is disappointing that President Obama and his Democratic-run Senate failed to act to replace his sequester and instead insisted on more tax hikes to fund more government.  This week’s address comes as new figures show the national debt has risen more than $6 trillion on the president’s watch.
