What happens when you decide to get a little curious? You find out things that could possibly change the way you see something. Kristin Bauer van Straten (Pamela de Beaufort) experienced this first hand and in the Animal Legal Defense Fund’s (ALDF) second “Bite” with Kristin, she tells us what happened when she visited her local pet store one day. The store had puppies there and just because she was curious, she asked the person who worked there where they came from. The answer was a breeder in the midwest. Because the answer was not all that clear, Kristin turned to Google and found out that a reputable breeder does not sell to pet stores. And that’s where the puppy mills come in.
