True Blood‘s Deborah Ann Woll (Jessica Hamby) and her boyfriend E.J. Scott have been working to bring public awareness to Choroideremia, a rare genetic eye disease that Scott and the men in his family suffer from. In addition to Scott’s pledge to run 12 marathons in 12 months, the duo have released a new 90 second public service announcement which updates his activities to ensure that this disease begins to get the attention it needs. Scott has already completed 7 of the 12 marathons and will be running the 8th this weekend on August 25th in the Messa Falls Marathon in Ashton, Idaho.
