While at Comicpalooza this weekend, Kristin Bauer van Straten (Pamela Sywnford de Beaufort) mentioned during her Q&A some of the difficulties associated with shooting Once Upon a Time last year. Unlike regular sets, Once Upon a Time uses a lot of green screen technology for their magical land sequences. As a result it is difficult for the actors to orientate themselves on it because they don’t see what the set actually looks like unless they look at a monitor off camera. I just happened to see a video on YouTube which shows Kristin filming her first episode called “The Thing You Love the Most.” Watch:
