If you’re not up to speed, August Alsina was on 106 & Park to promote his album recently and was confronted with a question by the female host Keshia Chanté which involved talking on his current “beef” with Trey Songz. The response he gave was not flattering to everyone. Here is the footage below if you haven’t seen it:
August Alsina got a chance to clear the air and get whatever was left on his chest in a recent Hot 97 interview on the morning show with Ebro. Read & watch what he had to say about the whole incident below:
If you put me in a position…that’s how I felt. I went back to BET yesterday and that’s exactly what I said. [Keisha] was like, ‘I didn’t mean to disrespect you’ and I was like, ‘Well it wasn’t my intention to disrespect you.’ Before this conversation, I felt how I felt and I spoke on how I felt and I spoke don’t take back nothing that I said.
I’m the idiot, because it’s like I said what I said thinking ‘maybe if I say this, these n*ggas won’t ask me about this no more’. But, in return it’s like ‘oh, everybody beefing.’ I never said that. With these interviews, they put up what they want to put up and not put up everything I said.
