Angie Martinez caused a stir last week, following her public announcement of her resigning from Hot97, then news breaking of her joining rival station Power 105.1. Since then, the Voice of New York has been relatively quite, keeping a low profile while the media and fans took to social media to comment on the situation. Today she partook in her first official interview since her resignation, at Power 105.1′s The Breakfast Club, where she took questions from Charlamagne, Angela Yee and DJ Envy. The station seized the moment to express their excitement for their new host, as they welcomed Angie with her own cake, which she shared via Instagram.
