With the premiere of season three of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, there’s also the news that Victor Garber (Martin Stein/Firestorm) will be departing during the season. Now before panic fills the fandom, the exit was well planned. So while it comes as a surprise to many fans, it wasn’t to those in charge of the show and the writing. We won’t have to worry about any unexpected and sudden exit, which will definitely be a relief. Victor Garber will be joining Bernadette Peters in the Tony Award-winning revival of Hello, Dolly!, they take over the run of the show on January 20, 2018. Martin Stein first showed up on The Flash‘s first season episode “Crazy for You” where we saw the origins of Firestorm (then with Ronnie Raymond) and worked with Team Flash. The character later joined Rip Hunter and the Legends on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, again as Firestorm (this time with Jefferson “Jax” Jackson). Though there is no news of any possibility of a return for Garber as Stein, with the nature of the show there is always hope.What are your thoughts on Garber’s departure?
