I was in Miami last month relaxing and checking out hotels. I decided to go to the Viceroy as I haven't been there in a really long time. The location is perfect for business travelers and it adds value to the up and coming neighborhood of Brickell with the movie theater and Whole Foods being built across the street. Later this year they are adding a Cippriani Restaurant in the bottom of the building as well. From arrival to departure, the Viceroy is one of the most beautifully designed hotels I've ever seen. The work of Kelly Wearstler is colorful yet relaxing, very Miami and so chic. The rooms are very thoughtfully designed and feel more like a fabulous Miami apt rather than your average hotel room.
