Vice's On-the-Ground Video Footage from Charlottesville: You Need to Watch

There's a reason this on-the-ground video report from Charlottesville has gone viral in a short time. If you have not watched it, you need to do so, keeping in mind the false-equivalency lie that Donald Trump, many mainstream media outlets, and many white U.S. Christians continue to try to peddle about this frightening filth. 
And then after you watch this, watch the following video from Mount Holly, North Carolina, a few miles west of Charlotte.* I'm grateful to a much-esteemed reader of this blog and a very good friend of mine, who lives in Charlotte, for bringing this video to my attention.

P.S. Mount Holly and the county in which it is located, Gaston County, have long been hotbeds of Klan activity in the western North Carolina Piedmont. Because Belmont Abbey College, at which Steve and I taught in the early 1990s, is located in this county, Steve and I lived in the county for several miserable years in the 1990s. It's the last place I have personally witnessed the Klan marching through the streets of a town, in broad daylight.
