Welcome to Via Milano, the pro-Italian restaurant situated in Koramangala 1st Block. The outlet is close to the Bandhan Bank, Via Milano is known to serve authentic high quality Italian food. The ambiance is of a Roman street with clean white and blue interiors. The place needs more air-conditioners due to the rising temperatures at Bangalore.

We tried a variety of food at Via Milano right from starters to main course and desserts. We started off with Mozzarella Fritti, a spicy fried savory with melted mozzarella, tri-colored bell pepper and is served with tangy tomato sauce. Delicious appetizer. Next we had the Panzerotties, it is also a deep fried savory which is filled with spinach, ricotta cheese and nuts and is served with spicy tomato and pesto sauce. The last appetizer we tried was the Melanzane al forno, a baked Eggplant with Mozzerella, basil and Mushrooms dish.
For main course we started off with the Spaghetti Aglio Olia. I simply love this dish and at Via Milano I felt in love with it yet again. Amazing with so simple flavors. The spaghetti was cooked to perfection and then tossed in with olive oil and other condiments. Next we had the Lasagne al Forno di Verdure, a lasagna with vegetables and cheese. Lastly we had the Fusilli alla Mozzarella, a cheesy pasta with exotic veggies. The pasta was a bit too salty for my palate.
Via Milano had a range of delicious desserts like the Apple Crumble, a warm apple crumble with cinnamon icecream on top. The subtle flavors of the cinnamon brought everything together. We then had the Semifredo, with the caramelized almond nougat. One of the best desserts I have ever tried. Mango Pannacotta came next, the consistency was a bit dense and I would love to see a lighter version of it. But the mango flavor did come out pretty well.
The Sunday Brunch at Via Milano is the talk of the town and still remains to be tried.
