Redemption is the name of the game for Arrow season 7.
“The theme for Season 7 is redemption. As you’ll see, since last season when Oliver [Queen] (Stephen Amell) outed his identity, the city is a little bit mixed about how they feel about the Green Arrow,” new series showrunner, Beth Schwartz, revealed at Comic-Con International in San Diego. “So his whole season is about redemption, and all the characters will touch on that as well.”
And from the looks of it, he’s going to need it. “The thing I like about Oliver in the premiere and the thing that’s been fun to play is that there’s nothing about him that’s heroic. It’s kind of the opposite, and that’s cool,” Amell teased.
“You’ll see a completely different Oliver Queen,” James Bamford, director of the season 7 premiere, added.
It looks like the odds are stacked against Oliver in the season premiere.
Tune in Monday, October 15 to see what happens to Queen and crew. And tell us what you think about this season’s theme in the comments below.
