Vaseline Body Lotion Comparison : Cocoa Glow and Total Moisture

Hello Pretty People,

I'm sure all of you are really enjoying the lovely weather. Too bad for me, I've got a very bad cold and cough from last week and seems I'll be sick this week too. But enough about my health issue, here's a post I've been delaying for quite a long time. This is a showoff between Vaseline Cocoa Glow Nourishing Body Lotion and Vaseline Total Moisture Body Lotion.

To start I want to confess that while choosing Vaseline Body Lotions I did not expect any difference. I've been loving Vaseline Body Lotions since they came out and have tried most of their variants. But this winter season calls for a better moisturizer than the average Vaseline Lotions for summer. So I've decided to do a showoff between the Vaseline Cocoa Glow Nourishing Body Lotion and Vaseline Total Moisture Body Lotion.

These are available in different sizes but the one I have is the 300ml pack .While the Cocoa one cost me 169RS (Now it costs 175Rs) , the Total Moisture one cost me 165Rs (Present Price)

1. Vaseline Cocoa Glow Nourishing Body Lotion : This pack looks quite attractive and for a chocolate lover like me  this was love at first sight. This made me remember chocolate sauce! Sigh! ! But the color of this lotion is not like chocolate, but a pale brownish yellow shade. The packaging is simple with a flip top cap. The shape of the bottle is same except the bottle is chocolate brown in color.
2. Vaseline Total Moisture Body Lotion: This pack looks normal with a pale yellow plastic bottle and a yellow flip top cap as the usual packaging. The graphics are fairly simple and contain the ingredient and other information .

1. Vaseline Cocoa Glow Nourishing Body Lotion is a treat for the body and the mind. It has a very pleasant smell which reminds me of freshly baked vanilla cake. It's a heavenly smell but maybe a bit too sweet for some people who are sensitive to overpowering smell. The color is a pale brown that is quite heavy and will keep dry skinned ladies happy . Though you may feel the urge to reapply after 8-10 hours  but it still works better than other Vaseline lotion.
2. Vaseline Total Moisture Body Lotion: This is a normal body lotion with a pleasant smell but not as overpowering as the cocoa glow one. If you love scented lotions you'd want to try something else. This one is a normal lotion that can keep you hydrated for about 8 hours and then you will need to reapply. This is more runny and free flowing than the cocoa glow one.

• Quite sweet smell which reminds me of vanilla essence
• Moisturizes skin for a good period of time

• Nourishes skin

What's Not So Good about Vaseline Cocoa Glow Nourishing Body Lotion?

• Smell may be overpowering for some
• Takes a bit of effort to blend into skin as it's quite thick

• Might be too light for dry skinned beauties

These are good for the pocket as well as for the skin. These are available at all leading stores and as well as online, making it easily accessible. For Oily to normal skinned ladies this is a good moisturizer.
