Brie, bacon and grape baguetteMy favorite lunch time treat of the moment! When Rich and I were both home the other weekend we thought we'd go for a picnic on the Sunday, so bought lots of yummy treats to take with us. We then got the phonecall on the Saturday night asking us to go to the concert at Hyde Park, so we decided to make these baguettes to take with us. You couldn't take food into the Park, so we ate them on the grass before we got there with lots of fellow picnickers and people who didn't have tickets for the concert. You will need:baconbriegrapes baguettesI'm not going to go into how to make these, as its pretty self explanatory! We used maple cured bacon which was bloody fantastic, so tasty. I like grapes in this instead of cranberry; it's a lot more of a subtle flavor and less sickly.
