Original recipe uses 4 cups of light cream or half-and-half, but I always have heavy cream and whole milk in the fridge, so that is what I used to make this ice cream. If you don't have ice cream maker, then use only Heavy Cream to get a creamy, smooth ice cream. Using light cream or half-n-half will make the ice cream too icy.
With Ice Cream Maker: Ingredients: Heavy Cream - 2cups Whole Milk - 2cups Sweetened Condensed Milk - 1 14oz. can (fat free or low fat is OK to use) Vanilla Extract - 2tbsp
Method:
- Whisk all the ingredients until well combined. Churn in the ice cream maker, following the machine instructions and you will have creamy and delicious ice cream.

Method:
- Whisk condensed milk and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Whip heavy cream until soft peaks form.
- Fold the whipped cream into condensed milk.
- Pour into a 9"x5" loaf pan or other 2 quart pan. Freeze for 6 hours or until set. Enjoy!!
