Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo has finally welcomed their little bundle of joy! On September 12, Vanessa gave birth to a baby boy, which they named Camden John Lachey, as revealed in an Us Weekly interview.
The parents issued their official statement on the same day, which reads: “We are incredibly proud to announce the birth of our beautiful baby boy, Camden John Lachey. Born today at 6:54 pm. He came into this world at 8lbs 9oz and 21 inches. Love has truly been redefined for the both of us.”
The couple wed at a private and romatic ceremony in Necker Island last July 15, 2011. This was Vanessa’s first marriage but the second for Lachey, who was married to pop star Jessica Simpson in 2002. However, the two divorced in 2005.
Nick Lachey has been openly sharing his thoughts and preparation for the arrival of his baby boy. According to Nick in an interview a few months back, “nursery’s ready, we got the stroller, we got the car seat. Now it’s just emotionally figuring out what we do, and I don’t think that ever ends.”
Despite the hectic schedule that he’s been facing with the preparation, and especially now with the arrival, of their baby boy, Lachey think “it’s very exciting!”
