Vanessa Bryant and Kobe's (secret) letter
Yesterday I found an envelope addressed " To the love of my life " ... Thus begins the Instagram post of Vanessa Laine Bryant, who on the occasion of her birthday tells of having discovered among the house papers, four months after her death, a letter never seen, written for her by her husband Kobe Bryant who also said "I wish we were always together."
"I kept it in store to open it on May 5," the day Vanessa turned 38. "It gave me something to wait, something to do that I was looking forward to."
In April Vanessa would have celebrated 19 years of marriage with Kobe, but the terrible helicopter crash of January 26 took away her beloved husband and daughter Gianna, only 13 years old.
