VA Trooper Car Hitting Skateboarder Video, Goes Viral 9 Months Later (Video)

A Virginia State Police trooper hitting a kid on a skateboard and captured on a cell phone approximately nine months ago, went viral on the internet after famous professional skateboarder Tony Hawk, threw up a link to the video on his Twitter account On July 31.
The video now has over 300,000 hits on YouTube, showing the power of social media in driving news and traffic.
The video is short, shows a marked patrol car turning and accidentally hitting a kid holding a bagel. The skateboarder, Timothy Crawford, can be seen rolling off the hood of the cop car and falling backwards.
Crawford told WWBT in Richmond on Wednesday "“I still had the bagel, I didn’t drop it ever."
