The Uttara Lanka Sabhagaya has decided to contest any upcoming elections. This was decided at the first Executive Council Meeting held at the Sri Lanka Communist Party office. Its Executive Council has also decided that in any election, five members should appear from each coalition party of the Sabhagaya and one of them should be a woman.
