Taken during the 2007 Vertical Challenge helicopter airshow put on by the Hiller Aviation Museum with my pre-DSLR Panasonic DMC-FZ30. This helicopter is a variant of the French-built Eurocopter AS365 Dauphin. Coast Guard Air Station San Francisco has been operating four HH-65 Dolphin helicopters since 1996 to provide search and rescue. The Coast Guard operates a total of 102 Dolphins deployed in 17 cities.
