(Washington) The United States recorded Friday 57 683 new infections due to coronavirus, according to the count at 20 h 30 from Johns Hopkins University, which refers, a record level since the start of the pandemic.

On the eve of American National Day, the country also recorded 728 new deaths due to COVID – 19, according to the same source, bringing the total number of deaths to 129 405.
The United States, by far the country most affected by the disease in the world, has now detected nearly 2.8 million cases in all.
The south and west of the territory are seeing an outbreak, which “puts the whole country at risk” in the words of Anthony Fauci, director of the American Institute of Infectious Diseases.
