Quick flashback to September 3, 3013 when EPA agents with the Alaska Environmental Crimes Task Force raided a goldmine in Chicken, Alaska and in the initial Alaska Dispatch report, it asked "Did it really take eight armed men and a squad-size display of paramilitary force to check for dirty water?"
Good question and one that U.S. Senators are demanding answers to.
What has already been exposed is astounding in scope and gives credence to every utterance of the term "police state" in reference to what America is becoming.
"Imagine coming up to your diggings, only to see agents swarming over it like ants, wearing full body armor, with jackets that say "POLICE" emblazoned on them, and all packing side arms,” gold miner C.R. Hammond told the Alaska Dispatch.
A probe has found that 73 federal departments have armed personnel. Some are agencies expected to have armed personnel but over a dozen agencies are not associated with law enforcement at all, such as the Library of Congress and Federal Reserve Board and the National Institutes of Health.
Alaska Governor Sean Parnell is demanding an investigation and states "This level of intrusion and intimidation of Alaskans is absolutely unacceptable."
Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski asked the EPA "Why was it so confrontational?" She says "The EPA really didn't have any good answers for this."
