Urban Youth District and Jaffna District teams triumphed in the 34th National Youth Sports Festival’s Basketball Championship held at Nalanda College grounds in Colombo and St Joseph’s Boys College and St Joseph’s Girls College in Nugegoda.

The Urban Youth men’s team clinched the title by defeating Gampaha District, with Jaffna District securing third place.
In the women’s category, Jaffna District emerged victorious against Gampaha District, while Ratnapura District secured the third spot. The 34th National Youth Sports Festival finals is scheduled for November 16 to 19 at the Sugathadasa Stadium, promising more exciting sports action.
