UPSC Recruitment 2022 Details

1. Assistant Editor (Telugu)

No of posts: 1 (UR:1)

Department: Central Reference Library, Ministry of Culture

Age Limit: 35 years.

Educational Qualification:

(i) Degree of a recognized University;
(ii) Degree or Diploma in Librarianship of a recognized University or Institution.

Experience:

(i) About five years of practical experience in a responsible capacity in a library of standing.

(ii) Proficiency in the Telugu language.

2. Photographic Officer

No of posts: 1 (UR-01)

Department:
 Directorate of Public Relations, Ministry of Defence

Age Limit: 35 years.

Educational Qualification: 
Degree from a recognized university.
Experience: Two years experience in various branches of photography including experience in Press Photography in an organization in the field of Print or Audio-Visual Media.

Desirable:
i) Diploma in Photography or Motion Picture Photography (Cinematography) from a recognized institution;
ii) One year’s experience in the production of documentary films.
iii) One year’s experience in write-ups on photographic features, published in various magazines.

3. Scientist-B (Toxicology)

No of posts: 1 (UR-01)

Department:
 Central Forensic Science Laboratory, Directorate of Forensic Science Services, Ministry of Home Affairs

Age Limit: 35 years.

Educational Qualification:

(i) Master’s Degree in Chemistry/ AIC by examination/ Biochemistry/ Pharmacology/ Pharmacy/ Forensic Science and
(ii) Bachelor of Science Degree with Chemistry as one of the subjects from a recognized University or Institute.
Experience: Three years experience of analytical methods and research therein in the field of Toxicology in any Central Government or State Government organization or
recognized research institute or Forensic Science Laboratory under the Central or State Government.

Desirable: Experience of working in a Forensic Science Laboratory.

4. Technical Officer (Public Health Engineering)

No of posts: 4 (SC-01, OBC-01, UR-02)

Department:
 Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs

Age Limit: 35 years.

Educational Qualification:

(i) Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering or Public Health Engineering from a recognized University or Institute or passed Section A and B examination of the Institution of Engineers (India) in Civil Engineering.
(ii) Post Graduate degree in Public Health Engineering or Environmental Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.

Desirable: One year experience in Public health engineering or environmental engineering or municipal services including investigation, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of water supply or drainage or solid waste management and sewerage installations.

5. Driller-in-Charge

No of posts: 3 (OBC-01, EWS-01, UR-01)

Department: Central Ground Water Board, Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, Ministry of Jal Shakti

Age Limit: 30 years.

Educational Qualification:

(i) Degree in Drilling/ Mining/ Mechanical/ Civil/ Electrical Engineering/ Petroleum Engineering from a University recognized by Government of India, Ministry of Human Resources Development, All India Council for Technical Education, University Grants Commission, Indira Gandhi National Open University or State Government;
(ii) One year experience in operation and maintenance of drilling rigs;
OR
(i) Diploma in Drilling/ Mining/ Mechanical/ Civil/ Electrical/ Petroleum Engineering from a University recognized by Government of India, Ministry of Human Resources Development, All India Council for Technical Education, University Grants Commission, Indira Gandhi National Open University or State Government;
(ii) Five years experience in operation and maintenance of drilling rigs;

6. Deputy Director of Mines Safety (Mechanical)

No of posts: 33 (SC-02, ST-02, OBC-06, EWS-01, UR-12) (PwBD-01)

Department: Directorate General of Mines Safety, Ministry of Labour and Employment

Age Limit: 40 years.

Educational Qualification: 
Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/Institution or pass in Section A and Section B of the Associate Membership Examination in Mechanical Engineering Branch from Institution of Engineers (India). Note: Only those candidates who were enrolled for Associate Member of Institution of Engineers (AMIE) up to 31.05.2013 are eligible for consideration to the post of Deputy Director of Mines Safety (Mechanical) (Direct Recruitment) and the candidates who have enrolled on or after 01.06.2013 for AMIE are not eligible for consideration to the post of Deputy Director of Mines Safety (Mechanical) (Direct Recruitment).

Experience: Ten years professional experience in Industrial Installation or engineering workshop (including at least two years experience in Mechanical Engineering in direct relation to plant and equipment used in mining). DESIRABLE: Post-Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/ Institution.

7. Assistant Executive Engineer (Electronics)

No of posts: 3 (EWS-01, UR-02)

Department: 
Directorate General of Lighthouses & Lightships, Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways

Age Limit: 35 years.

Educational Qualification:

(i) Degree in Telecommunications/ Electronics Engineering/ Electronics and Communications Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent IETE (Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers) and Section A & B of the Institution of Engineers (India) (All those students who are enrolled with the Institutions with permanent recognition up to 31.05.2013 would be eligible)

Experience: Two years experience in a supervisory capacity in the field of radio aids to navigation.

Desirable: Two years experience in generation, supply, and transmission of power with experience in lighting small motors and wiring.

8. System Analyst

No of posts: 6 (SC-01, OBC-01, EWS-01, UR-03) (PwBD-01)

Department: Union Public Service Commission

Age Limit: 35 years.

Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Computer Applications or M.Sc. Computer Science or M.Sc. Information Technology from a recognized University or Institute; OR Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Computer Technology or Computer Science and Engineering or Information Technology from a recognized University or Institute.

Experience: Three years post qualification experience in actual software development using PHP or JAVA or ASP.Net and having experience in databases such as MYSQL or SQL or ORACLE or POSTGRES data base in a Government Office or Public Sector Undertaking or Statutory or Autonomous organization or from any recognized Institution

9. Senior Lecturer (General Medicine)

No of posts: 1 (UR-01)

Department: Government Medical College and Hospital, Chandigarh, Department of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh Administration

Age Limit: 50 years.

Educational Qualification:
(i) A basic University or equivalent qualification included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register. (ii) M.D.( Medicine)/ M.D.( General Medicine) from a recognized University/ Institution or equivalent.

Experience: Three years teaching experience in the concerned Specialty after acquiring postgraduate qualification as Lecturer/ Registrar/ Senior Resident/ Demonstrator/ Tutor in a recognized Medical College/ Teaching Institution.

10. Senior Lecturer (General Surgery)

No of posts: 1 (UR-01)

Department: Government Medical College and Hospital, Chandigarh, Department of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh Administration

Age Limit: 50 years.

Educational Qualification:
(i) A basic University or equivalent qualification included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register. (ii) M.S.( Surgery)/ M.S.( General Surgery) from a recognized University/ Institution or equivalent.

Experience: Three years teaching experience in the concerned Specialty after acquiring postgraduate qualification as Lecturer/ Registrar/ Senior Resident/ Demonstrator/ Tutor in a recognized Medical College/ Teaching Institution

11. Senior Lecturer (Tuberculosis & Respiratory Diseases)

No of posts: 1 (UR-01)

Department: Government Medical College and Hospital, Chandigarh, Department of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh Administration

Age Limit: 50 years.

Educational Qualification:
(i) A basic University or equivalent qualification included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register. (ii) M.D.(Tuberculosis)/ M.D.(T.B. and Respiratory Diseases)/ M.D. (Medicine) with T.D.D., D.T.D., or D.T.C.D./ M.D.(T.B. and Chest Diseases) from a recognized University/ Institution or equivalent.

Experience: Three years teaching experience in the concerned Specialty after acquiring postgraduate qualification as Lecturer/ Registrar/ Senior Resident/ Demonstrator/ Tutor in a recognized Medical College/ Teaching Institution.
