Google Pay Recently launched RuPay credit card based UPI payment facility for its users. Through this new facility, users will now be able to make UPI payments through credit cards. Let me tell you, earlier only the facility of making payment through debit card was available on Google Pay. Google Pay in partnership with National Payments Corporation of India (NCPI) has released this new update for all users.
Credit card based UPI payment on Google Pay will prove to be a very useful update for the customers. As we said, till now UPI payment can be done only through debit card. In such a situation, the payment could be done only when there is money in your account. At the same time, after the new update, even if you do not have money in your bank account, you can make UPI payments without any worries. This balance will be added to your credit card bill.
Currently, Google Pay only supports RuPay credit cards issued by Axis Bank, Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, HDFC Bank, Indian Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Punjab National Bank and Union Bank of India. However, in the coming days, other banks will also join it. If you are a RuPay credit card user, then immediately link your credit card with the Google Pay app.
How to link Rupay credit card on Google Pay, learn how
First step- First of all open Google Pay on your smartphone.
Second step- Click on the profile icon appearing on the top corner of the Google Pay home page.
Third step- In this window you will see Bank Account, RuPay Credit Card and Pay Businesses options.
Fourth step- You have to click on RuPay Credit Card option.
Fifth step- After this, many bank options will appear in front of you.
Sixth step- You have to select the name of your bank which has issued you the credit card.
Seventh step- Now you have to enter some details like last 6 digits of the card, expiry of the card and PIN. After this your credit card will be linked to Google Pay.
In such a situation, whenever you want to make UPI payment, you can pay through RuPay credit card by going to Google Pay.
