Fortnite developer Epic Games is warning players that if they upgrade to Apple, they could skip the popular Battle Royale game iOS 14.
"Fortnite iOS players who update to iOS 14 may lose access to Fortnite," said a tweet on Wednesday Fortnite Status Account. "If the message" Temporarily remove apps to install the software update? "Accepted, it may result in Fortnite being deleted. Fortnite cannot be reinstalled later because Apple prevents users from doing so."

Apple offers users the option to temporarily remove apps to make room for extensive iOS updates. But because Fortnite was kicked from the Apple App StorePeople who already have the app installed may not be able to download the game again if it has been removed to make room for iOS 14.
In a follow-up tweet, the Fortnite account suggested people push Cancel first then go to the settings > General > iPhone warehouse Make space.

Apple is in a lawsuit with Fortnite developer Epic Games. Fortnite launched on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store in August after Epic tried to bypass the 30% fee Apple and Google are charging developers. Epic countered by filing lawsuits against both companies.
The iOS 14 update, released September 16 several new features for iPhone users, including its new Smart stack widget tool and the ability to Personalize your iPhone's home screen.
