Back in September an article appeared here about the planned opening of the first Jacksonville World of Beer store (see link below). Today, in an article to the Florida Times-Union blog Amber Waves, Roger Bull reports that the new opening date is estimated to be February of 2013. This seems to make sense since on a recent visit there did not appear to be any site improvements underway. The only indication that anything would happen was a sign that touted the old Starbucks in Tinseltown as the future home of World of Beer.
Bull also reports that the Tinseltown location will not be the only Jacksonville location for the chain that now operates 31 locations in 10 states. According to the article, there could be as many as four more locations planned for the First Coast.
