Nagarjuna is a complete Andhra Cuisines restaurant. Located on Bannerghatta road just opposite to Brand Factory and above KFC/Tanishq showroom. This outlet is located on the 1st floor and you are welcomed by a huge inscription of “Nagarjuna 1984”. The ambiance is neat and luxurious and the seating is made to make sure it is meant for eat-and-go. There are sofas as well as wooden chair seating. You will always find a banana leaf infront of you. No matter what you order you need to eat it in the banana leaf.
We went here for the sole purpose of having their Andhra Meal. Oh boy, I wasn’t disappointed. The Andhra meal is a good way to taste the flavours of Andhra. This is a rice only meal and you get sambar, rasam, dal, buttermilk, curd, a veg curry, ridge gourd chutney, and ofcourse a sweet. You will also find 2 types of pickle, gun powder and fried chillies on the table. What makes this meal so unique is the fact that ghee is added to your rice from top. The combination of ghee rice and each of the dal’s is simply fantastic. This is an unlimited meal thali and you can enjoy as much as you want. But the sweet and the buttermilk were so so. We also ordered the Fresh Lime Soda, which were good as well.
This unlimited meal is a complete value for money. The service is also blazing fast.
