The best part about memories is the act of making them. In the moments when you’re surrounded by love and filled with joy, you can feel that you’re going to remember them forever. When my family booked a photoshoot with Unposed Photography, we knew we’d end up with professional photos of us. We had no idea that it would be such a great bonding experience!
Unposed Photography is an Ottawa-based photography team with a unique approach to capturing moments: rather than traditional posing, people simply have fun. Robin, the owner and principle photographer, has a way of capturing the personalities of people and the dynamics between them as they play and goof around. It is in these fun moments that genuine smiles come out and twinkles form in people’s eyes, and Robin knows exactly what to do and say to get the whole family engaged. This was the first time my whole family had been able to be in front of the camera at once, and it was so refreshing and positive to see each other in this new way, playing around for the sole sake of having fun together. A photoshoot with Unposed Photography is an event in and of itself, and the photos hold so much more meaning and life than traditional posed photos taken at family gatherings. Every still is an unforgettable moment frozen in time, fueled by laughter, fun and love.
