This is to bring to the notice of all candidates who applied and sat for the Post UTME screening of the University of Benin, that the management of the school has released the provisional admission list for the 2020/2021 academic session.
All applicants who sat for the school's post UTME screening are hereby advised to check if they have been offered admission into the school.
The provisional Uniben Admission List includes the names of successful candidates who have been offered provisional admission into all Bachelor degree programmes run in the school.
All candidates who registered and passed the University of Benin post UTME should endeavour to check their admission status by following the steps which will be mentioned in this article.

How to check UNIBEN Admission list 2020/2021
At the time of writing this article, all candidates who participated and passed the Post UTME of the University of Benin can check if they have been offered provisional admission using two methods.
These methods are:

To check if you have been offered admission into the University of Benin, you can use the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
Follow this guide to enable you check your admission status using JAMB CAPS.
STEP 1: Make sure you have installed google chrome browser on your phone and you have set the browser to "View desktop site".
STEP 2: Now click on this link
STEP 3: Input your email address and the password you used while registering for Jamb. Then click on login.
STEP 4: When you get logged in, a number of tabs will appear, click on the tab with the heading " check admission status ".
STEP 5: Then you click on " access my caps ".
STEP 6: When you are able to view your JAMB CAPS, click on " Check admission status ".
STEP 7: Lastly, if you have been offered ,the two buttons of " accept" and " reject " will be activated, you click on either of them to accept or reject your admission.
How to check admission UNIBEN 2020/2021 Admission status using UNIBEN Admission portal.
Alternatively, you can use the University of Benin admission portal to check if you have been offered admission into the institution.
Follow this steps to enable you check your admission status using the UNIBEN admission portal.
STEP 1: Access the UNIBEN admission portal by clicking on this link ( https://uniben.waeup.org/applicants/checkstatus)
STEP 2: Input the same email you used while registering for the school's post UTME and use your surname as password.
STEP 3: Lastly, Click on "submit".
What next after Admission?
If you are reading this, I know for sure that you've been offered admission into the University of Benin, and as a result of this, I congratulate you.
But if you've not been offered admission, I'll advise you to stay patient as more batches are still coming.
Now, for those who have been offered admission into the University of Benin (UNIBEN), you'll be required to pay a sum of sixty thousand naira only (#60,000), irrespective of the programme you were offered.
This sum of money you're paying is known as the acceptance fee, and must be paid within a specific period of time.
If the fee is not being paid before this time elapses, there will be an automatic withdrawal of your admission offer.
You are therefore advised to make haste with the payment of your acceptance fee.
