5 Things To Do At Universal Studios Orlando

5 Things To Do At Universal Studios Orlando

1. Consider A Universal Hotel

Orlando’s hotels are full of different themes, packages, and amenities. Really, there are a lot of festive and enjoyable options in the bunch. But there is a benefit to nabbing a spot at a Universal affiliated hotel. In their “Theme Park Survival Guide” offering tips for mastering Orlando’s parks, DialAFlight notes that a room key from such a hotel can serve as, essentially, a line pass. And with that in your hand, you’ll be able to zip past theme park lines for (most of) the rides and attractions.

2. Take The Jurassic Park River Adventure

Technically part of the Islands of Adventure park (basically another section of Universal Studios), this is an incredibly immersive ride that’s great for a classic thrill. Given that you’re really at the park of a film studio—not a generic roller coaster park—it’s worth noting that Universal’s strength is in putting you into a fictional experience, rather than just zipping you through the air.

3. Experience Harry Potter’s Forbidden Journey

One of the newest and hottest attractions in Orlando, Harry Potter’s Forbidden Journey is great as a ride. But it’s also amazing as an experience and as a dream come true for fans of the Harry Potter series. The best way to describe it is that you’re strapped into the ride and taken through the entire Hogwarts experience, flying about the towers, chasing dragons, whizzing by Hagrid’s hut, and everything in between.

4. Enjoy The Amazing Adventures Of Spider-Man

Orlando Informer has a great detailed account of this ride. Even though it’s been around for some time at Universal Studios, it remains an incredibly popular attraction. It was one of the best in the world when it was first built, and it also was pretty original in combining 3D video content with an actual ride. It was upgraded in 2012 to be kept fresh and remains a remarkably fun experience.

5. Visit The Three Broomsticks

Not to harp on Harry Potter World too much, but the Three Broomsticks is one of the coolest attractions in Orlando that isn’t a ride. If you’re familiar with the series, you recognize the name of the popular pub in Hogsmeade Village. However, familiar or not, you’ll enjoy this themed “tavern.” Décor and costuming are a blast, and you get the chance to enjoy various treats adapted from the Harry Potter series.

Ultimately, you’ll find these and a great deal of other attractions to enjoy on any trip to Universal Studios Orlando. But if you’re pressed for time or just want to make sure you hit the high points, these five items deserve spots on your to-do list!

If you visit Universal Studios Orlando then I would love you to comment on your experiences. Please let me know of the some of the attractions that you visited.
