Robert and I had hoped to publish our first full US of Futbol review show earlier this week, but we had some complications arise. We will try to get it out into the stream by tomorrow at the latest.
Until then, this will be our first US of Futbol midweek interview episode. On Saturday, I had a chat with Oliver Wilson of World Football Daily. The discussion was the expected 20th Major League Soccer team NY2, and more specifically the role that Sheikh Mansour may play in that franchise. Of course most of you will know Mansour as the owner of Manchester City F.C. of the Barclay’s Premier League. Ollie has covered Mansour for awhile and gives some excellent insight into what his leadership (and cash) may bring to Major League Soccer.
You can subscribe to the show on iTunes, listen and subscribe on Soundcloud through the Mad About Futbol stream (you can already listen to the first review show there), or stream the interview below. On Twitter, the show is found at @usoffutbol, and you can tweet at Earl Reed or Oliver Wilson by following the hyperlinks provided. You can find the United States of Futbol show on Facebook here.
Music for the United States of Futbol show is provided by the band B Side Shuffle.
Thanks for listening!
