Yes, this is still a book blog. But, my husband has been looking for a pecan pie recipe for a long time that did not use the standard corn syrup. After a long period of research, we finally found one that uses sweet condensed milk instead. He was so proud of this recipe, he insisted I share it on my blog. So, without further ado:
Pecan pie recipe using sweet condensed milk:
2 cups chopped pecans
1/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon cinnamon
14 ox can of sweet condensed milk
1 9 inch deep dish pie shell
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
Place the pecans in the bottom of the pie shell
Mix all other ingredients together and pour over the top of pecans.
Bake for 30 minutes
Let cool before serving
