UniCal Student Commits Suicide by Drinking Sniper [Graphic Photo]

Death was averted in Calabar, Cross River State on Thursday as a 500-Level student of the University of Calabar, UNICAL, allegedly drank ‘Sniper’ insecticide.

Naijaparry reports that the victim, identified as Maxwell Lucky who is a student of Zoology hails from Isolo in Isolo Local Government Area of Lagos state.

Friends of the deceased have also poured encomiums on the late student, whom they described as gentle and easygoing.

Emmanuel Ekanem, a student, in a post on his Facebook page, said he was surprised to hear about the incident and paid a tribute to the late student.

The victim is, however, recuperating as reasons for the act are still unknown.

The authorities of UNICAL had not reacted to development at the time of filing this report.
