Thoughts on Undertow
Undertow is a thriller that shows one woman’s life turned upside down by a tragedy. That will see her starting to question everything that is going on with her husband with a mysterious young woman. This is a thriller that does show the trauma a woman would go through after losing a child, something that would see her bend her own reality to be filled with fear and hope.
The potential affair side of things does seem to drag a lot of the film down. Where it will leave us in a position of not believing much the husband says no matter which side of the truth he is on. When it comes to the performances the four leads are strong through the film. Showing their own struggles in the aftermath of what happened.
Final Thoughts – Undertow is a thriller that has plenty of questions, but doesn’t seem to add up to the truth.
