Bangalore-based EV startup Ultraviolette Automotive launched the F77 Mach 2 electric bike in India last April. The Indian company has now announced the start of exporting this high performance electric bike to Europe. Exports from the company's manufacturing facility were launched in the presence of Union Heavy Industries Minister HD Kumaraswamy and Karnataka Industries and Commerce Minister MB Patil.
The top end Recon variant of the Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 will be available in Europe. However, Ultraviolet Automotive plans to send the entry-level version later. There are no other differences in the export version except for the change in instrument cluster software and number plate Honda.

In Europe, the electric bike will be priced between 9,000 Euros and 11,000 Euros (8.41 lakh to 10.28 lakh rupees). Note that it is being sold in India at Rs 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The F77 Mach 2 is available in two battery options – the first is a 7.1 kWh battery pack with a range of 211 km. It has a 27 kW motor.

On the other hand, the Recon variant with 10.3 kWh battery pack and 30 kW motor gives a range of 323 km on a full charge. The design and development of the F77 Mach 2 was done entirely in India. It is currently the fastest electric motorcycle made in India. Top speed is 155 km per hour.
