#ULDAdventure with UNIQLO

Ultra Light Down (ULD) is new form of outerwear for both men and women from UNIQLO. It's so light yet really warm - it comes with a little bag so you can roll it up and take it with you, kinda like a sleeping bag you can wear, that's the best way I can describe it!

Be quick though, the competition ends on 14th November!If I had £500 to spend on a UK adventure there's one place that immediately springs to mind, the Isle of Skye off the West Coast of Scotland. It's nearly 400 miles, over 8 hours drive away but it's completely worth the journey. The whole island is stunning; I could include so many photos but I've limited myself to the few below. We've even got a canvas print of this photo my Dad took in our dining room. We went for a week and stayed in the little village of Stein, not too far from Portree and everywhere is just a scenic drive away.Speaking of driving, it'd be amaaazing if I could hire a VW campervan to roam around Skye in, though the 8 hour drive to get there might be a bit bumpy. Maybe something more practical would be a better idea, but I'm just excited that I could drive around (I'm eagerly awaiting my pink license arriving in the post any day now) and it'd be an incredible road trip!ULD would be perfect for the trip, so light to carry with me when I'm roaming around outdoors and great to keep me warm and dry if I'm up hills and exposed to the elements. In Scotland the weather changes so quickly; you can have four seasons in a day so it's best to be prepared. There's no shortage of breathtaking scenery, the Black Cuillin hills (second photo below) looked amazing every time we passed by. I'd definitely add them to my itinerary if I was to go back, though I'm not much of a climber so the inaccessible pinnacle would stay true to its' name and there's no chance I'd be pulling off any Danny McAskill trickery up there!I actually stood on that cliff in the photo below (and I'm not too good with heights and open spaces) and walked up the Quirang too which gave an amazing view of the Outer Hebrides and mainland Scotland. Sometimes people think you have to go halfway round the world to get breathtaking views and scenery, but you really don't. Scotland has so much and Skye is a perfect example. The Aurora Borealis can been visible in Northern Scotland if you're lucky to be there at the right time and it's a lot cheaper to visit than heading over to Iceland! Fingers crossed it'd be my lucky week and I'd get a glimpse.Another pony trek would also be on the itinerary, I really enjoyed the last one and I miss horseriding. I used to go every week so it'd be great to do a longer trek and explore more of the scenery.It'd be great to win, not only to go back and see more of the island, and re-visit places we saw before, but to take you along and vlog parts of my trip too.
