Ty’s Must-have Kitchen Items

By Ty Watson

If you've visited my blog before, you know I LOVE to cook. Anything that makes cooking EASIER is a welcome addition to my kitchen. With that in mind, I wanted to share with you my top 4 favorite kitchen items. I love them, and I think you will too. Without further ado, here they are (in no particular order).

TY’S MUST-HAVE KITCHEN ITEMS

Reduce Water Filtration Pitcher - At my house, we drink a TON of water. Sure, we could buy it at the store, but that gets expensive. Now that I have the filtration pitcher, I have high quality water right in my own refrigerator whenever I want it. The 60 day Vision water filter makes my water taste amazing. I also love that the pitcher has a clear view window so I can see exactly how much is left. It holds ten cups of water, so I don't have to refill it every time I have a glass of water, which is a huge bonus.

Kyocera 8" Ceramic Coated Fry Pan - The Kyocera nonstick technology has been proven to outlast other leading brands of nonstick pans. I've been using it for a while now and I really love it. The 8" size is perfect for omelets and small servings, and since it's also oven safe up to 400 degrees and approved for induction cooktops, it accommodates a lot of different recipes. Cleanup is a breeze, too.

Kyocera 4.5" Utility Knife - This is my go‐to every day knife. I use it to cut meat, fruits, and veggies. It's the perfect length - not too long and not too short. The ceramic Kyocera blade holds its edge ten times longer than other professional knives, so I know it will last me a long time. Another thing I like about this one is that it comes in 8 different color combinations - so I have one for meats and one for veggies and fruits.

Frieling Ring Mold Creations - This is one of the most versatile molds I've ever used. I can make all kinds of appetizers, cakes, puddings, and even things like individual ice cream dishes with this. It's great both in the freezer and in the oven, and everything comes out in perfect uniform cylinders so I look like a gourmet chef. Dishes made in a mold like this are also great for impressing friends and family at get togethers. When the party's over, the nonstick coated carbon steel releases the goodies and makes cleanup as easy as pie (or triple chocolate mousse cake!).

Now that I've shared my favorite kitchen must‐haves, tell me about yours.
