Greenpeace Auction BannerTrue Blood‘s Alexander Skarsgård (Eric Northman) and Kristin Bauer van Straten (Pamela de Beaufort) have donated items to an auction that is going on to help raise funds for Greenpeace International.  Greenpeace is an international organization that exposes environmental criminals, and challenges government and corporations when they fail to live up to their mandate to safeguard our environment and our future.  The auction is to raise funds to help build the Rainbow Warrior III. Watch a video clip below to learn more about the Rainbow Warrior III.

For more than 20 years our current Rainbow Warrior has helped end nuclear testing in the Pacific, blocked coal shipments to highlight climate change, shut down destructive fishing operations and stopped illegal wood from leaving the Amazon. Just to name a few. Now aged 52, the current Rainbow Warrior needs to be replaced, so we’re building the world’s first custom-built, cutting-edge environmental campaigning vessel, the Rainbow Warrior III.

Skarsgård, through Skarsgardnews.com, has donated a True Blood script that he owned, used and autographed during the filming of the show and which has his actual notes in the margin.  The current bid for this item is $850 and the auction ends September 21st.  Click here to place your bid today.

Bauer van Straten donated one of her True Blood scripts which she has autographed herself but has also had several other cast members sign as well.  Also included is an autographed photo of Kristin in her role as Pam.  The script has been signed by Alexander Skarsgård, Joe Manganiello, Sam Trammell, Deborah Ann Woll, Jim Parrack, Carrie Preston, Brit Morgan, Todd Lowe, Marshall Allman, Dale Raoul, Fiona Shaw, and Rutina Wesley.  The current bid is $550 and the auction ends September 21st.  Click here to place your bid today.

Other items up for bid at the auction include a dinner with Lucy Lawless, an autographed ‘Calendar Girls’ calendar by Helen Mirren and an autographed photograph of Helena Bonham Carter.  To view a complete list of the items click here.  Be sure to place your bids today to get your hands on some fantastic True Blood merchandise as well as help out an incredible organization.
