Two suspects involved in the murder of a 33 old man in Urubokka that occurred 33 years ago were ordered to be remanded till May 23 by Morawaka Magistrate and Additional District judge Gihan Duminda Basnayake.
The wife of the murdered man who had killed her husband with the help of her paramour broke down and confessed before the magistrate about how she killed her husband and threw his body in the toilet pit with the help of her paramour then.
The Urubokka Police unearthed the remains of a man from a toilet pit behind a house in Urubokka, Dolamulla who was murdered 33 years ago.
The suspects are residents of Ginnaliya, Urubokka and Medakanda, Udugomassa and they are in aged 69 and 83.
