This chart shows the results of the latest University of Texas / Texas Tribune Poll -- done between August 29th and September 8th of 550 registered voters who say they'll vote in the Texas Democratic primary. The margin of error is 4.17 points.
Note that Joe Biden has slightly more than a quarter of the respondents -- 28% in Quinnipiac poll and 26% in the UT poll. Elizabeth Warren is second in both polls --10 points behind Biden in Quniinpiac and 8 points in UT poll.
Perhaps the most disappointing result for a candidate is for Bernie Sanders. He gets only 12% in both polls -- tied with Beto O'Rourke in one and trailing O'Rourke by 2 points in the other. In 2016, Sanders got 33.2% of the Texas vote, giving him a nice candidate total. But unless he does better than his current support, he won't get many delegates out of Texas -- and if Warren continues to rise, may get none.
Kamala Harris (5%) and Pete Buttigieg (3%-4%) also are doing very poorly in Texas.
