The Kilinochchi Divisional Crimes Investigation Bureau has arrested two persons who chased a car on a motorcycle and shot at the persons inside, in Kilinochchi Udayanagar on June 28.
These officers have also taken into custody the gun that was used in the shooting as well as the motorcycle the shooters were traveling on. The shooting had taken place at dawn on June 28 and one person had been injured.Police said that the two individuals arrested in connection with this incident are aged 22 and 24 years and residents of Kilinochchi. They had been taken into custody at Ganeshapuram.
