Two Held for Drug Trafficking Targetting Schoolchildren

Badulla Police have arrested two suspects with a stock of narcotics in their possession for sale targetting the students who take private tuition in Badulla during the holidays.

On information received by the Badulla divisional intelligence officers that these organized drug dealers are selling drugs to school students who come to Badulla for tuition classes on holidays, Badulla Police arrested two suspects in Badulla Winithagama with a stock of narcotics.

According to the instructions of Badulla District SSP Sujith Vedamulla, extensive investigations are being conducted in the district to eliminate drug trafficking.
