Two people have been hacked to death inside a house in Endagala, Eppawala on Monday night, Police said.
The Eppawala Police are conducting further investigations into the murder of the two identified as Kavinda Prasad Weerakoon (30) and Ibrahim Mohamed Mobarak (47).
Both had been hacked to death in a brutal attack with sharp weapons, police said. One of the dead is a paddy mill owner and the other was his friend, a three-wheeler driver.
Eppawala police suspect that the murder was committed due to a personal dispute.The suspects have not been identified yet.
