Two Butchers Killed, One Kidnapped In Ondo

Two butchers who have been lured by suspected Fulani herdsmen to buy cows at Ala forest have been killed whereas one escaped.

Their our bodies have been recovered by police detectives within the state.

One of many butchers who escaped, Nasiru Jamiu mentioned that they have been lured into the bush the place they killed two whereas he escaped by whiskers.

"The Fulani people that use to sell cows to my boss called him to come and buy cows. Though he had been selling cows to him before, it has been long before they both transacted business.

"We first went to the place on Saturday but the place was a long journey and my boss asked us to come back that he did not feel like going again.

"The Fulani man stored disturbing him and satisfied him that they might convey the cows to a close-by place.

"So when he was known as yesterday, they advised us that some folks would come and meet us at Ala city earlier than we might proceed to the place the cows have been stored.

"On getting to ala, we took them to where the cows were and they asked us to park our vehicles so that they could move the cows to the main road.

"They entered into the bush whereas 4 of us have been ready beside the car. Surprisingly they returned with weapons and began taking pictures to the air.

"They kidnapped my boss inside the bush.

"Three of us left tried to run for our lives but I was macheted and fell and pretended as if I had died.

When I later realised no one was there again, it was then I stood up and was running around the bush.

"lt was solely my boss I noticed kidnapped. I don't know the whereabouts of the 2 others until now."

Contacted, the police picture maker, Funmi Odunlami confirmed the killing of the victims.

Odunlami mentioned "Two of the three butchers have been killed.

"Their our bodies have been present in Tafa camp throughout the Ala forest reserve by our males whereas looking out and brushing the bush after we have been alerted in regards to the abduction."

The police spokesperson mentioned that butchers went reserve with a Diana truck to buy cows from Akure after they have been killed.

"The butcher that was macheted on his face was discovered groaning in ache on the camp when police raced to the scene.

"The sufferer was rushed to a normal hospital for remedy and later taken to police hospital Akure for additional remedy and he's recuperating."

The investigation, in keeping with her "have begun in direction of arresting the culprits and as properly to rescue the sufferer
