The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has arrested two persons in connection with the assault of Parliamentarian Kumara Welgama, his Personal Security Officer and the driver at the Kottawa Expressway entrance. This incident has taken place at the Expressway entrance on May 9 night.
The suspects who are in the 30-37 age group, are residents of Makumbura and Horana.
