Two persons were arrested over the stealing of a policeman’s helmet in Mawanella.
On Wednesday afternoon a policeman engaged in traffic duties had parked his motorcycle and placed his police helmet in a nearby shop.
When he had returned, he had found his helmet missing. The policeman had then checked the CCTV camera footage and found that it had been stolen by two persons.
