Verdict on Twisters – The Real Story
Twisters – The Real Story is a documentary exploring the connection between the original ‘Twister’ movie to an incident that devastated a town in America. It dives into storm chasers and what they have been trying to achieve with their research.
We learn what causes tornadoes and how the research has improved, but there are still plenty of mysteries about them. It looks at the desire to chase the storms and the challenges presented, with the scale of the area they can form in. As well as the destruction left behind by the different ranges of powered ones.
This documentary seems to focus on an added promotion for the latest Twisters movie. It doesn’t seem to add much to the storm-chasing community. Doesn’t give enough information about the changes in dealing with tornadoes and feels more like a basic discussion piece about the love of the original Twister and what happened next. It could have been nice to learn more about how the country deals with tornadoes and the aftermath. Sadly, not, we don’t learn enough and left wanting to watch the original more, learning nothing about the making of the film either.
Where to Watch

Final Thoughts – Twisters – The Real Story fells more like a typical tornado documentary.
