Verdict on Twisted
Twisted is a horror thriller that follows the relationship between a mother and daughter as their lives start to change. It shows the controlling nature that the mother has over her daughter and the effects it has caused over the years.
This is a movie that sees things spiralling out of control with change. It creates a story where we aren’t completely sure who is the more mentally damaged. Showing signs that both have problems that are not addressed healthily enough. The movie does a good job at creating uncomfortable sequences and should definitely come with a trigger warning.
Final Thoughts – Twisted is an uncomfortable thriller that keeps us on edge.
